Andrea Waters is the Creative Director and Executive Chef at Redemption, a healthy restaurant and alcohol-free bar concept in London.
Andrea’s background includes running her own health food store in New Zealand, working for the experimental and forward-thinking Lamrock Café on Sydney’s Bondi Beach in the 1980s, serving formal French cuisine in Wellington, New Zealand, and cooking for John Frieda in his Mayfair salon during the late 1980s.
Before all this, she took on the role of Head of Food for Pitcher & Piano, a brand where she oversaw the growth in food sales to in excess of £20 million per annum, and managed a team of 80 chefs.
Following the sale of Pitcher & Piano, Andrea joined several of her colleagues in the purchase of Tootsies. They built up the brand from 9 to 35 restaurants before they sold the chain in 2004.
Since then, Andrea become passionately interested in nutrition, vegan and raw food. She has now teamed up with Catherine Salway in the creation of Redemption.
