Chris is the Group Executive Chef for Young’s & Co Brewery, a collective of 180 premium managed pubs.

Chris says he inspires his teams to deliver the best-in-class, fresh, British and seasonal pub food through a food strategy framework that supports the individuality of each pub within the group. He achieves this through a local food vision and a menu structure that enables his teams to develop the right menus at the right time, whilst delivering the best of British seasonal ingredients to their doorsteps.

Chris leads an exemplary team of Executive Chefs and is responsible for chef engagement, progression and development for the Back of House teams.

Chris worked his way to the position of head chef through the kitchen ranks of local hotels, restaurants and bistros before joining a number of restaurant groups as a development chef. Chris chose to work in the field of development to inspire a larger collective of chefs to bring their customers a first-class experience.
