Paul is recognised as one of the country’s culinary masters, as well as an accomplished food writer and regular contributor to popular food television programmes.

Paul has worked in some of London’s most prestigious restaurants. For more than 22 years, he was Executive Chef at The Lanesborough, a world-renowned hotel on Hyde Park Corner, where he was the driving force behind the culinary direction and success of the hotel’s food and beverage operation until his departure in late 2013.

Paul’s talent, attention to detail and passion for food has secured his reputation within top-level fine dining. Through his company Feedback Consultancy, most recently Paul partnered with LifeWorks Restaurant Group as a revered partner and ambassador to inspire the young LifeWorks chefs whom he mentors. His other clients include Braehead Foods and Vegetarian Express.

Paul is also one of the original people to set up the Tesco Finest range, and is the former chef director of Inigo Jones Restaurant in London where he pioneered vegetarian haute cuisine.

During his career, Paul has authored 25 cookery books, won the Mouton Cadet chef competition twice, and was twice a finalist in Le Prix Culinaire International Pierre Taittinger. He was appointed MBE for services to the hospitality industry and charities in 2012.
