Freddy May is the founder of CooklyBookly, a brand-new digital platform described as ‘Spotify for Chefs’ that launched recently in the UK, and will roll-out to the USA in the late summer.
A self-confessed part geek, part food obsessive, Freddy founded CooklyBookly to offer what he could not find when searching the Internet for culinary inspiration – quality, diversity and community.
To that end, Freddy says CooklyBookly provides a modern way for chefs to create and monetise beautiful content; whether recipes, techniques, video blogs or collections. Content can be individualised to the same extent as a printed cookbook but with the benefit of reaching a global digital audience. It integrates closely with social media platforms, and allows users to tell culinary stories far beyond just recipes. The platform is free for chefs to use, and only accepts advertising from cooking-related companies.
CooklyBookly is the third global platform company that Freddy has built, but the only one dedicated to his personal obsession.
